Experienced Mental Health Therapist, Now Available Within the Comforts of Your Home.

Velour MHC is an online mental health service company. We believe in making mental health counseling simple and supportive by offering telemental health therapy services to clients residing anywhere in the State of New York.

Our highly professional and discrete online mental health therapist in NY understand the importance of offering clients high level of care and compassion as we work with them to manage stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, and grief and loss. 

Velour MHC offers each client a free consultation call in which a therapist will introduce themselves and learn about your needs to ascertain if they can be the best source of help for your mental health related needs.

After the consultation call, you and the provider will decide whether to continue with the setup of an initial assessment appointment (intake.)

During the initial assessment, the therapist will ask you certain questions to get to know you better. This initiates the process of identifying any mental health concerns that you might be struggling with to get you started on a productive and healing journey of recovery. This session will take 60 minutes or more.

  • Consultation call last up to 15 minutes.
  • Initial assessment (Intake) last up to 60 minutes or more.
  • Ongoing individual sessions:
    • 30 minutes
    • 45 minutes
    • 60 minutes
  • Couple therapy
    • 60 minutes
  • Group therapy
    • Range from 60 to 90 minutes

Shalini Singh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT). She is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

She practice as a Psychotherapist and is also known as a Mental Health Counselor. She is highly experienced with a variety of mental health related issues as well as general mental health concerns. See the “services” page for more information.

Therapy service cost varies depending on the type of service you receive. Service types range from individual, couple and group therapies.

Velour MHC’s Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Shalini Singh, individually accepts the following health insurance as an in-network provider:

  • Oscar Health

The practice may use third party billers to process your session claims with your provider at Velour MHC.
